Wise is a currency platform which allows you to save, convert, transfer funds across multiple currencies. You get a digital card (sits in your phone wallet!) and you can also have a physical debit card linked to your account. When you’re in-country, your Wise card will act as a local currency bank card. No transactional fees when you’re using an ATM. I’ve enjoyed using it as a goal-setting tool - where do I want to travel to next? China? I’ll open a RMB account within my Wise account and put funds aside for when I travel there.
